Where Fire Meets Restraint

Ember is Chef Josh Boutwood's vision of a restaurant that smolders with sophistication. Situated in Greenbelt 3, Makati, the concept grew from a belief that fire — in its most primal form — is the ultimate equalizer in the kitchen.

The kitchen employs convection, stone hearth, smokers, and open flame to infuse every plate with honesty. Ingredients are chosen first. The flame comes in after. Boutwood's philosophy veers away from cuisine categories and instead draws inspiration from multiple cultures — letting technique and instinct lead.
